I saw a house for sale and it said 6 bedroom, 2 bath, and 0 square ft. Honestly I don’t have a whole lot of intention of buying it but what does that mean.

P.S. It is most definately not a mistake or typo.

Square feet is a measurement of livable space. Perhaps it is underwater, or has a missing roof. Most likely it is a typo or mistake. What reason do you have to suspect otherwise?

We owned house number two outright, and hope to close soon leaving about $90,000 principal on our new number 1 residence if fully applied. We wonder whether it is better to accept a higher mortgage payment and reserve some cash for new vehicle, renovation or other expenses, or rather apply all to the mortgage and expect a smaller monthly cost?

If you’ve got enough readily available cash to protect you and to pay any taxes due on the sale of the second house, then you need to consider alternate investments.

You’ll have to judge whether you’d be better off with a lower house note versus the return that you’d make if you invested the money someplace else.

Since this decision involves quite a few factors that are purely personal to you, no one can tell you for sure what you need to do.

You might want to look at alternatives and then calculate what would make you happier.
